The Men`s Air Zoom Vapor Pro 2 Clay Tennis Shoe updates one of the most popular shoe designs used on the pro tour. Nike designed the Vapor Pro 2 with close-to-the-court comfort in mind. The shoe features improved forefoot Zoom Air cushioning, but keeps the same entry and fit as the original Vapor Pro. The extra padded, traditional tongue design pairs nicely with a soft yet supportive ankle collar for a locked-in fit. The Vapor Pro 2 is more comfortable than the original version, but it keeps the close-to-court feel that players have come to know and love. The more padded tongue is a wonderful addition as well.

Upper: Comprised of mesh for improved ventilation, the upper offers an extra padded tongue and cushioned ankle collar for easy entry and comfort. The traditional tongue design and lacing system offer predictable fit and easy adjustment, and shielded medial eyestays help protect the laces when sliding.

Midsole: The soft foam midsole contains a Zoom Air unit running throughout the forefoot for responsive cushioning minus the bulk.

Outsole: This model features Nike`s new CLAYBREAKER outsole which was created using traction maps, pressure maps, and analysis of clay buildup areas to generatively design and place geometries to create the ideal outsole tread pattern. Wear testers believe CLAYBREAKER to improve performance on clay courts when compared to a standard herringbone design.
